You’re a trained Reiki practitioner and an animal lover. It’s time to hone your abilities so you can help your animal companions in a new way. Taking classes in Animal Reiki for Reiki Practitioners is just the answer. Each class provides the opportunity to discover how you can use this wonderful energy to balance and promote healing for the companion animals in your life.
The classes in Animal Reiki for Reiki Practitioners focus on the canine, feline, and equine anatomy but, you’ll learn the nuances of animal energy systems and energy sensing, as well as specific hand positions and how to use the Reiki symbols most effectively for all species.
Are these classes for you?
You must be certified in Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki. Please bring your certifications and manuals to class. If you do not have written materials supporting your certification you’re invited to join the general Animal Reiki classes where you will receive the Reiki attunements.

What level is right for you?
- Reiki I practitioners are invited to take Animal Reiki for Reiki Level I practitioners
- Reiki II practitioners are invited to take Animal Reiki for Reiki Level II practitioners
- Reiki III practitioners are invited to take Animal Reiki for Reiki Level III practitioners
Each class includes material from the previous classes. So, for example, if you are a Master level practitioner, take the Level III class and rest assured that you will learn all of the Animal Reiki basics covered in Level I & II plus learn how to apply the more advanced energy techniques of the Level III practitioner.
Not a Reiki II Practitioner or Reiki III/Master yet? After taking the Animal Reiki for Reiki Practitioner course applicable to your level of training, further your Reiki education with classes that include attunements and specific animal healing techniques. Group and Private Instruction: Susan offers Animal Reiki classes for the attuned Reiki practitioner in a group and private instruction in Valley Cottage, NY or at your home, barn, stable, or place of business in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut.

By learning how to use Reiki with animals, you can support their healing process and strengthen your bond with each other.

Animal Reiki for Reiki Practitioners Level I
This course is for the Reiki Level 1 Practitioner.
Students will receive a course manual and certificate upon completion.
At his level you will learn:
- the animal’s energy anatomy
- energy-sensing techniques
- animal Reiki hand positions
- how to give a Reiki treatment for animals
- how to use Reiki for your animals, shelter and rescued animals, and wildlife
- hands-on practice giving Reiki to animals
- ethics and safety when giving Reiki to animals
Tuition: $150 (PayPal and credit cards accepted. A $75 deposit reserves your place in the class; the entire balance is due by the first day of class.)
Prerequisite: Reiki Level 1, 2, & 3 Master PractitionerI. Length of the class is 3-4 hours over 1 day.
Animal Reiki for Reiki Practitioners Level 2
This course is for the Reiki Level 2 Practitioner. It covers material from Animal Reiki for the Reiki Level 1 Practitioner class and introduces new material specific to the abilities of Reiki Level 2 practitioners.
Students will receive a course manual and certificate upon completion.
At his level you will learn:
- aura level energy sensing and clearing techniques
- how to give a Reiki treatment for animals
- review and use the Japanese Reiki 2 symbols for animals in all types of situations
- how to send Distant Reiki energy to the past, present, and future for healing
- review and use of the Japanese Reiki 2 Techniques for healing
- how to create sacred space with Reiki
- hands-on practice giving Reiki to animals
- ethics and safety when giving Reiki to animals
Tuition: $235 (PayPal and credit cards accepted. A deposit of $117.50 reserves your place in the class; the entire balance is due by the first day of class.)
Prerequisite: Reiki Level I, II, & III. Length of class is 5-6 hours over 1 day.
Animal Reiki for Reiki Practitioners Level 3
This course is for the Reiki Level 3 Master Practitioner. It covers material from Animal Reiki for the Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2 Practitioner classes and introduces new material specific to the abilities of Level 3 Master practitioners.
Students will receive a course manual and certificate upon completion.
At his level you will learn:
- aura level energy sensing and clearing techniques
- review and use the Japanese Reiki 3 symbol for spiritual healing
- review and use the Japanese Reiki 3 Techniques for healing
- hands-on practice giving Reiki to animals
- ethics and safety when giving Reiki to animals
Tuition: $315 (PayPal and credit cards accepted. A deposit of $157.50 reserves your place in the class; the entire balance is due by the first day of class.
Prerequisite: Reiki Level I, II, & III. Length of the class is 6-8 hours over 1 day.
